Dana Expands Gear Ratio Offering for Jeep® Wrangler

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Incorporated (NYSE: DAN) announced today that it has expanded its line of aftermarket Spicer® AdvanTEK® gear ratios for the current generation Jeep® Wrangler.  Among the offerings available exclusively from Dana are six gear options for the front and seven for the rear for the Dana 44™ AdvanTEK®

Dana made the announcement at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, held through Nov. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  Dana will showcase its new products in booth 35117, located in the South Hall Upper.

The expanded aftermarket gear ratios allow users to match gear ratios to optimum engine speeds when using larger tires.  Dana will now offer the following gear ratios for current generation Jeep Wrangler axles:

Dana recently tested its Spicer AdvanTEK gearing at the Ultimate Adventure (UA) 2018.  Featuring a 4.88 gearing upgrade to effectively power the 37-inch tires, the team from Dana equipped the vehicle with a Spicer® performance front driveshaft, and front and rear Spicer® nodular-iron performance differential covers.  Engine, transmission, and transfer case were all stock.
