NEW YORK, Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- After 20 years of experience in IT, Milind Nagnur was named Chief Information Officer of Wells Fargo where he focuses on Customer Enablement, AI and Automation and is responsible for strategy, technology and growth for the firm. Milind is the being highlighted as the keynote speaker at The Intelligent Automation for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance event held at the Andaz Wall Street in NYC on January 28th, 2019.
Growing up as middle-class in Thane, India, with no ancestral inheritance, Nagnur pushed major boundaries to achieve the seniority level he holds today. By the age of 25 he authored a book on Java2 Network Security for IBM Publication that later would be included on the syllabus of many Ivy League schools.
Before his current Wells Fargo position, Nagnur was the SVP and Managing Director for Citi for almost 12 years and VP of JP Morgan for five years. While at Citi he was on the Citi Advisory Board, Citi Ventures, and senior advocate for the Women's Leadership Council's Developing Talent Program. He was also the principle architect and apps development manager in Trade and Treasury Services at JP Morgan.
