Hollywood is coming to Lake County, OH

PAINESVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2018 Conference on Tourism hosted by the Lake County Visitors Bureau (LCVB) and Remarkable Lake County, OH will take place October 18, 2018 at the Four Points by Sheraton (Eastlake, formerly Stonehill). Doors open at 5:00pm for the Lake Health Red Carpet with the event beginning at 5:30pm. This year's theme is: Where the stars come to shine. How Hollywood impacts tourism development.

With films such as Avengers, Draft Day, A Christmas Story and more being filmed in Northeast Ohio, it is a great time to raise awareness of this tourism opportunity for Lake County," said Scott H. "In addition to a performance by David Keltz as Edgar Allen Poe, we have a Remarkable slate of speakers; Mr. Ivan Schwarz, CEO and President Greater Cleveland Film Commission, Ms. Kim Riffle, General Manager A Christmas Story House and Museum, and special guest emcee Mr. Dan O'Shannon, American television writer and executive producer for such shows as Newhart, Cheers, Frasier, and ABC's Modern Family," Dockus said.
