SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of the West Wealth Management Group's Family Wealth Advisors hosted the Silicon Valley segment of the BNP Paribas' 2017 Global NextGen Experience program for ultra-high-net-worth Millennials. The four day event brought together the next generation of clients with some of the world's largest tech companies centered on three key themes: entrepreneurship, multi-generational family wealth and investing with purpose.
"Bank of the West was thrilled to host the NextGen Experience's final program this year in the global epicenter of entrepreneurship and technological development," said Pierre Ramadier, Head of Wealth Management at Bank of the West. "Through the global reach of our parent company, BNP Paribas, and our local presence in Silicon Valley, we were able to offer international clients a hands-on look at the startup process and the financial decisions involved in innovative business growth and multi-generational family wealth."
Attendees explored the lifecycle of an entrepreneur through a live pitch session, panel discussions and tours of a number of technology companies across the region. Attendees served as judges during a pitch session, voting on the best start-up idea among participants. The full program was recorded by a graphical note-taker, who provided attendees with takeaway materials in a unique format. Attendees also saw presentations by guest speakers like Ben Bingham, author of "Making Money Matter," and sessions with local family offices and foundations.
