Quest launches desiccant dehumidifier for low temps
Quest Dry 132D introduced at 2017 MJBizCon in Las Vegas

MADISON, Wis., Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Quest Dehumidifiers unveiled the Quest Dry 132D Desiccant Dehumidifier this week in Las Vegas at MJBizCon, the cannabis industry's largest trade show. The unit is designed for dry rooms, seed storage and experimentation growing.

Desiccant dehumidifiers absorb moisture out of the air using silica gel material. Because this material isn't as temperature dependent as traditional refrigerant dehumidifiers, desiccant dehumidifiers can dehumidify below 70 degrees Fahrenheit, which is beneficial for creating cool, dry environments.

"The 132D is ideal for growers drying in lower temps to preserve terpenes, or for those who are storing seeds in cool and dry conditions," said Clif Tomasini, director of operations at Quest. "Every operation is set up differently. With that in mind, we created the 132D to give growers the ability to have immediate and extremely dialed-in humidity regulation."

The Quest Dry 132D removes 132 pints per day at 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 percent relative humidity. It operates vertically or horizontally with multiple ducting options, which allows for further setup customization. Growers can combine this unit with other Quest dehumidifiers to optimize environmental controls.

Quest, maker of the 2017 High Times Dehumidifier of the Year and receiver of the High Times STASH award, is located at booth No. 2606 at MJBizCon.

The Quest 132D has a one-year parts and labor warranty. To learn more about the 132D, visit questhydro.com/132d, or call 877-420-1330.
