PRMA Summit Focuses on Forward-Looking Approach to Risk Management
Insurance industry leaders collaborate on future-proofing, adapting and innovating against tomorrow's risks

NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Looking to the future is the focal point of this year's Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) Summit. Recent unprecedented events—floods, wildfires, earthquakes and cyberattacks and the increased use of smart technology—exposes us to a new set of vulnerabilities that require a new approach to risk management. The collaborative, thought-leadership Summit will examine these complex issues and how we as an industry need to evolve in order to keep up. The event will take place November 5-7, 2017, at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel in Tempe, Arizona.

"This year, our Summit is more important than ever, and we're proud to bring leaders together to collaborate on critical topics that have significantly impacted the high net worth industry," says Lisa Lindsay, executive director with PRMA. "We'll focus on the future—not just in creating insurance solutions—but developing protective measures that future-proof assets and homes."

Conversations will be centered around topics such as technology that simplifies our lives but increases our risk; how to make homes stable, stronger and more resistant to fires, storms and earthquakes; home sharing that provides opportunities but also increases risk; and, how organizations need to adapt to the ever-changing modern job market.

The Summit will also feature a cocktail reception and awards ceremony dinner for four notable recipients. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the nation.

High-level sponsors include Chubb, PURE, American International Group (AIG), Restoration Affiliates, TeamWork Technologies, Burns & Wilcox, Castle High Value Surveys, Ironshore Inc., The Cincinnati Insurance Companies, NatGen Premier, Leak Defense, Water Security Solutions, Wright Flood, and Hagerty.

Early registration with discounted pricing runs until October 11. For complete pricing details or to register, visit www.prmasummit.org.
