Keynotes from famed storyteller Jad Abumrad of NPR's Radiolab, celebrated National Geographic creative director Andy Baker, creator and mastermind behind Kid President Brad Montague, award-winning film director Ryan Booth and others will help filmmakers gain a deeper understanding of cinematography, storytelling, directing, producing and client service. In addition, the conference includes three breakout sessions: a lighting workshop with Laura Merians, a discussion with the production team Variable about adapting to change, and an in-depth look at directing actors with Adrienne Weiss.

To compliment the keynote and breakout sessions, Film + Music Conference will feature six concerts from artists including Americana group Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, chart-topping classical pianist Chad Lawson, Sharon Irving, Penny and Sparrow and The Rival.

"The foundation of Film + Music Conference is community, because we believe great ideas are born when people come together," said Daniel McCarthy, founder and CEO of both Musicbed and Filmsupply. "We want to inspire, educate, and challenge each attendee to not only push their own creative boundaries but the boundaries of the entire film industry."
