Women's Health Expert Holds Conference to Help Women Avoid Pelvic Surgery

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Christine Kent, medical researcher and Founder of Whole Woman Inc. has announced the 6th Annual Whole Woman Conference in Albuquerque, NM, August 11-13, 2017

"This conference is for women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and or chronic hip pain, who have been told that surgery is their best option," says Ms. Kent.  "The facts are that these chronic conditions can be readily stabilized and often reversed without dangerous and all too often ineffective surgery."

This intimate conference to be held at the historic Hotel Andaluz in Albuquerque is designed to provide hands on help by Kent and other Whole Woman Practitioners she has trained and certified.  The theme of the conference is Whole Woman in Action - Comfortable, Confident, and In Control.  Ms. Kent will also be sharing critical and never before released women's health information from the latest medical research studies.

Pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and chronic hip pain are among the most common women's health problems.  Collectively, they are routinely treated with over two million surgeries annually in the US alone.  However, the surgeries are notoriously problematic, often unreliable, and may have life-long negative impacts on a woman's quality of life.

About Christine Kent

Since 2003 with the publication of the first edition of her book, Saving the Whole Woman, Natural alternatives to surgery for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, now in its 2nd edition, Christine Kent's Whole Woman work has kept thousands of women out of the operating room and living full physically active lives in over 60 countries with these conditions.

"For almost 500 years, the medical system has misunderstood the natural orientation of the female pelvis, which has given rise to the myth of the 'pelvic floor'.  As a result, their methods for treating these common, chronic pelvic conditions are astonishingly ineffective.  Even more amazing is that women can verify the truth of my assertion for themselves in a few seconds.  But this anatomical misconception has led to the growth of a huge and lucrative surgical industry, and the cost of untold suffering for women," explains Kent.

Whole Woman provides both streaming and DVD video courses, Christine Kent's books, consultations, workshops, intensives, and Certified Whole Woman Practitioner training.  Whole Woman Practitioners are currently active in various cities in the US, Ireland, UK, Australia, France, and Ghana.

Ms. Kent holds degrees in both Anthropology and Nursing and is licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico.
