MACAO, March 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 10th edition of the Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition(MIECF) is held at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel from March 30th to April1st 2017.
The annual MIECF is an international exhibition designed to increase the impact of environmental projects within the global market of the China's Pan-Pearl River Delta which links in southern China. It is a key influential and international event hosted by the Macao Investment Promotion Bureau and the Environmental Protection Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
The 2017 MIECF is being held under the theme "Innovative Green Development for Sustainable Future" to promote the concept of 'Thinking Green, Clean, Going Clean and Living Cool'. Top leaders from the environmental industry, government and academic sectors will share their air pollution control technologies, policies and experience. In particular, Mr. Achim Steiner, former Secretary-General of the United Nations and Secretary-General of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) from 2006 to 2016, has been invited as the keynote speaker and delivered the keynote speech related to this year's theme "Innovative Green Development for Sustainable Future" .
MIECF's Green Showcase will address several environmental protection areas such as environmental protection, renewable energy, green building, green mobility, waste and water management solutions, environmental services, air quality and other environmental products and services. Additional events include business matching, forums, gala and networking sessions, special buyer benefits, and Business Cooperation Day.
In addition, a wide variety of seminars and forums will take place during the exhibition. During the 'Green Forum', a total of 8 sessions and one special session will take place in which some 8 moderators and 40 speakers from 9 different countries, including USA and China, will participate.
Over 400 global brands and suppliers is presenting products and services dealing with energy efficiency, renewable energy, green building, green mobility, wastewater and water quality solution, environment service, air quality, and more in an exhibition space covering nearly 16,000 square meters.
