TROY, Mich., Jan. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2017 Classic Auto Show, taking place January 27-29 in Los Angeles, is touted as the ultimate experience for any auto enthusiast. AkzoNobel, a leading global paint, coatings and chemicals manufacturer, will be at the show as the exclusive paint supplier at the event, joining business partner Dave Kindig, host of the popular cable TV show, Bitchin' Rides.
AkzoNobel is sponsoring this year's Classic Auto Show, but is also exhibiting at the event as a guest of Kindig. AkzoNobel and Kindig launched a partnership in late 2016 to develop a new custom color line of automotive paints that will be unveiled at the 2017 SEMA Show, the premier automotive specialty products trade event. Since the announcement, Kindig visited AkzoNobel's North America Vehicle Refinishes headquarters in Troy to start developing the new colors for the custom product line.
AkzoNobel is exhibiting in booth 2219. Kindig will engage with customers in the booth during the show, and will also attend a private VIP event for AkzoNobel customers and friends on Saturday night. The company will also exhibit its various automotive product lines including Sikkens, Lesonal, Wanda, and Colorvation, the world's leading digital color matching technology.
"We are excited to join Dave Kindig at the Classic Auto Show," says Jennifer Solcz, North American Marketing Manager for AkzoNobel Vehicle Refinishes. "AkzoNobel is in the business of color, and we look forward to sharing our color innovations with this year's attendees."
