THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn., Nov. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A 2016 Cadillac ATS was the big giveaway Digi-Key Electronics' booth at electronica in Munich and the winner is deserving of the prize. Mathias Höbelt is an electronics apprentice at TQ Systems GMBH and attended electronica. His name was drawn at random and was quite a surprise.
After being told he had won the brand new Cadillac, Mathias shared, "I have never had a car before!" The shiny red, American classic is a coveted prize and it was received as such by those who entered in the drawing.
Höbelt was one of 73,000 visitors to the electronics event that encourages trade dialog and engagement with professionals from around the world. Digi-Key Electronics, a global electronic components distributor, was one of 2,913 companies exhibiting at the international event.
