Now in its second year, ALM cyberSecure: The Event for Business Continuity & Growth provides business executives with the necessary tools to build and deploy successful, adaptive cybersecurity plans which comprehensively address cyber-threat detection, defense and response. ALM cyberSecure is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees from organizations spanning the consulting, financial services, government and regulatory, insurance and risk, legal, real estate, and technology fields. In addition to more than 30 educational sessions and workshops, the conference will feature a cyberShowcase exhibit floor with turnkey kiosks demonstrating the latest cybersecurity solutions.

Besides Mr. Kelly, ALM cyberSecure speakers will include:

  • Thomas Dunbar, Senior VP and Head of Information Risk Management, XL Catlin
  • Suzanne Rich Folsom, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, U.S. Steel
  • Renard Francois, Global Chief Privacy Officer, General Electric
  • Peter Keenan, Chief Information Security Officer, Lazard
  • Korin Neff, Senior VP and Chief Compliance Officer, Wyndham Worldwide

As the longest-serving Commissioner of the NYPD, and the first to hold the post for two non-consecutive terms, Mr. Kelly has spent many years on the front lines protecting New York City and the nation from a variety of security threats. His keynote presentation will provide steps for how business professionals across various industries can defend clients and assets from cyber-attacks meant to steal information and disrupt critical data systems.

"As cyber-attacks increase in frequency and complexity, and greater numbers of businesses expand digital operations, malevolent cyber-crimes pose ever-growing dangers to the economy and national security," said John Stuttard, ALM Senior Vice President of Global Events. "We organized the 2016 ALM cyberSecure to help executives prevent cyber-attacks, preserve business continuity and increase growth prospects through actionable cybersecurity measures."

This year's ALM cyberSecure offers three educational tracks over the course of two days—Contain & Control, Detect & Respond, and Recovery & Growth. In addition to keynote presentations, panel discussions and other sessions related to insurance, legal, privacy, regulatory, risk, and technology issues, interactive pre-event workshops will focus on maintaining customer confidence, preventing and detecting internal fraud, and real estate network security.
