The judges are Leslie Carothers, CEO and founder of The Kaleidoscope Partnership, and Kelli Ellis, acclaimed lifestyle designer and celebrity interior designer. This team of judges was chosen based on their enthusiasm for philanthropic work. Winners will be awarded for individual projects and group projects. Industry partners and national sponsors will also be eligible for awards based on their contributions to projects.

"I am honored to be judging this year," said Kelli Ellis. "This year's #idsIMPACT Awards are most exciting to me as I myself am designing a 12-unit apartment complex for children with terminal illnesses, in Orange County, Calif., Miracle Manor. Designing is a passion for most of us and designing for a cause is something all designers should be involved in."

The #idsIMPACT Awards were created to highlight the charitable giving in which IDS members are already engaged. Commitment to community is one of IDS' core values and this initiative encourages and honors those who give back to their communities.

"It's wonderful to see the time, expertise and heart that has been poured into these projects, on a volunteer basis, by the interior designers involved," shared Leslie Carothers. "Everything they've done underlines the healing power of beauty and kindness and sends messages of hope to the recipients for a brighter future."
