(ISC)² to Present at Security Solutions 2019 in Norfolk, VA

CLEARWATER, Fla., May 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Later this month at the Security Solutions 2019 conference in Norfolk, VA, John McCumber of (ISC)2 – the world's largest nonprofit association of certified cybersecurity professionals – will lead a breakout session focused on the Lexicon Project and the importance of using a common language in cybersecurity discussions. CISSPs can earn 13 continuing professional education (CPE) credits for attending this conference, with the possibility of additional credits for attending pre-day training.  

When: Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 1:00 p.m.1:45 p.m. EDT

What: Presentation on the Lexicon Project, a group of glossaries of terms used in discussions on topics ranging from general cybersecurity, to Industrial Control Systems and the Internet of Things. Developed with the (ISC)² Advisory Council of North America, industry leaders and technology experts, the Lexicon Project provides professionals, legislators, journalists, boards of directors and others with quick reference guides that encourage broader understanding of how the accurate use of these terms ensures more effective cybersecurity programs.
