Clinical highlights include:

  • VERASENSE helps surgeons balance knees:
    • Without VERASENSE, surgeons are only able to balance the knee approximately 50% of the time.1
    • Using VERASENSE, results are significantly better (more than 90%).1
  • Quantifiably balanced knees perform significantly better clinically in many patient reported outcomes following TKA:
    • Increased Satisfaction- 98% at 3-Years2
    • Improved Forgotten Joint Score1
    • Higher Range of Motion (ROM)3
    • Fewer postoperative manipulations for stiffness (MUA)4

Ivan Delevic, President and Chief Executive Officer of OrthoSensor said:
"Our growing body of clinical evidence is proving that VERASENSE helps surgeons address soft tissue balance during TKA and improve patient reported outcomes.  Our results also demonstrate VERASENSE can save as much as $725 per patient by lowering variable of post-operative and post-acute care."

Stop by our booth #434 to learn more about VERASENSE sensor-assisted technology and its global expansion, and for demonstrations of:

  • OrthoLogIQ® -  data-collection software that quantifies total joint data for the optimization of patient care
  • MotionSense™- an in-development wearable patient data-collection sensor*
  • Shoulder Sensor - an in-development intraoperative sensor for reverse shoulder arthroplasty**
