American College of Prosthodontists to Host Digital Dentistry Symposium in Chicago
Dental innovators to present the latest digital advances in patient care

CHICAGO, Jan. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) is pleased to announce the 2019 Digital Dentistry Symposium will be held in Chicago Feb. 19-20.  This unique two-day event is designed for dental professionals who are interested in state-of-the-art digital solutions for the treatment of their patients.

"The symposium is a place where anyone that's interested in digital dentistry can come see the current state of technology, learn practical hands-on tips, and look to the future," said program chair Dr. Mark Ludlow. "Our goal is to help dental professionals find real-world clinical applications that simplify workflows and improve patient results."

Led by innovators in dental technology, the symposium features engaging lectures and break-out sessions organized by experience level from novice to advanced. There will also be hands-on workshops that allow attendees to try out the latest digital systems and walk away with a solid working knowledge of technology in the marketplace.

Speakers will cover topics such as 3D printing in dentistry, digital dentures, intraoral scanning, and chairside milling. Attendees will learn how to integrate digital systems into their practices, determine their optimal workflow for digital treatments, and understand best practices for the use of digital technology - from individual tooth restorations to complex rehabilitations.

This meeting is open to prosthodontists, general dentists, residents, dental students, dental laboratory technicians, and dental professionals with an interest in digital dental technology. Those in attendance will earn continuing education credits through the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the National Board of Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC) for dental technicians.
