TRI-COR Industries, Inc. Presents at the Capitol Hill Forum On The Future of Federal Information Technology

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TRI-COR Industries, Inc. (TCI) presented at the Capitol Hill Forum On The Future of Federal Information Technology, an event hosted by the Lexington Institute that included leading firms in the industry such as Amazon Web Services, General Dynamics, NetApp, and The Carlyle Group. TCI's CEO, Elizabeth El-Nattar, was the opening speaker crediting technology innovations for the recent phenomenon of global change.

Her remarks highlighted the necessity for leaders to leverage data-driven tools that will help them make informed decisions earlier-and-often to meet shifting mission priorities.  She brought the audience's attention to a modern Enterprise Agility Optimization tool, Velocity™ Enterprise Insights, that allows for holistic Lean portfolio management with an unparalleled level of transparency and visibility.  Additionally, she highlighted two other examples of innovative products, the Smart Cities Mobile App and Crafter Video Center product.

The Smart Cities Mobile App is designed to revolutionize the way government communicates and interacts with its citizens by modernizing its 911 system. The Crafter Video Center product is a robust solution that integrates customers' video management and consumption-related needs with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through the product, customers can perform automated analyses of video, resulting in business intelligence data that can cut months and years of work to minutes for Law Enforcement, Intelligence, and DoD agencies. El-Nattar also stressed the importance of Cyber Security, acknowledging that—although the advancement of AI is a reason for recent job loss in the public, private, and federal sectors—the issue can be curtailed through proper education and workforce development, so that Americans are afforded opportunities to gain the knowledge and training necessary to enable continued advancement.

This forum was a series of back-to-back 10 minute presentations delivered by subject matter experts in both public and private sectors at the U.S. Capitol Visitor's center, hosted by the Lexington Institute with a number of senior executives and government officials on November 9, 2018.
