MPI is a non-invasive imaging technology that directly detects and quantitates magnetic tracers with exceptional contrast and sensitivity.
The breadth of applications for MPI relies on the flexibility of magnetic tracers to target biological events, carry therapeutic payloads, and treat diseases with hyperthermia. The tracer's magnetic properties strongly influence the resulting image quality, sensitivity and resolution. The introduction of the RELAX tracer development toolkit supports researchers producing the next generation of nanoparticle tracers that could enable breakthroughs in cancer, stroke, and inflammation research.
