Latin Trade IndexAmericas Sustainability Awards at the IDB Annual Meeting

MENDOZA, Argentina, March 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Regional business publication Latin Trade announced the winners of the Latin Trade IndexAmericas Sustainability Awards at the Inter-American Development Bank's Annual Meeting.

The winners in each of the five categories were: Valeo (Environment); AES Corporation (Social Innovation); Johnson & Johnson (Corporate Governance); Telefónica (Development) and Globant (Multilatinas).

The award ceremony took place during the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Annual Meeting at the InterContinental Hotel in Mendoza, Argentina.

The event, presented by Latin Trade's Southern Cone Director, Mariano Vergara Hegi and Commercial Vice President María Cristina Restrepo, gathered business leaders, authorities, IDB officials and special guests and sponsors, Arcos Dorados and Copa Airlines.

In 2016, the IDB launched the IndexAmericas, with data from 6,000 companies using 400 indicators to quantify corporate good practices in environment, society, corporate governance and economic development. From that data, Latin Trade selected and awarded the best companies.
