Ferrari unveiled the most anticipated street-legal race car at the Geneva show, the Ferrari 488 Pista.  The performance-focused version of the Ferrari 488 GTB, the 488 Pista's race-themed interior styling combined Alcantara with carbon fiber trim. Bucket seats were upholstered in Alcantara for grip, breathability, comfort and support.

The car's integrated headrests featured an embroidered Ferrari logo in Alcantara with contrasting double side-stitching. Alcantara also was used on the upper door panels, center tunnel, headliner and pillars and dashboard.

Equally noteworthy was the snug interior of the McLaren Senna, which featured Alcantara on its dashboard, steering wheel and headliner. The minimalistic race-car seat cushions were upholstered in Alcantara and fixed to composite shells.
