FES relocated from Houston to Dallas last year and found success by tapping into one of the epicenters of economic and population growth in the United States. According to an Oxford Economics forecast, the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area is projected to be the nation's fastest growing economy over the next five years. Franchising will play a major role in the economy as the franchise sector continues to outpace all other sectors economy-wide. In the past five years franchising has created more than a million jobs and is expected to grow by $36 billion.
In Texas alone, franchising has added 635,500 jobs to the Texas economy and accounts for $53.1 billion of the state's economic output.
