"We embarked on a transformation with Oracle to unify and offer the best possible customer experience. People's behavior is evolving very rapidly and as premium brand, one of our most important objectives is providing a seamless and engaging customer experience. Of course we evaluated different platforms, but our final decision went in favor of Oracle as we were also guided by the opportunity to access a suite of cloud solutions that will allow us to optimize our digital transformation in the customer experience," said Arrigo Berni, Chairman of the Board Moleskine srl.

Moleskine offers a range of over 750 products that are available in over 90 countries through 23,000 points of sale: from paper notebooks to state-of-the-art digital notebooks, from bags to travelling accessories, books to device holders and more. With Oracle CX Cloud Suite, Moleskine will be able to shift its e-commerce from a local and independent approach to a unified global site.

"Our sustainable growth trajectory relies on our relentless focus on delivering new, innovative concepts, experiences and products to our loyal customers. As net revenues in e-commerce continue to grow, Moleskine saw an opportunity to establish better operating platforms with global reach and scale that allows us to execute a more integrated marketing plan to support product launches," said Gaia Franceschini, Head of Digital, Moleskine srl.

Moleskine rolled out its first website in May 2017 in Hong Kong using Oracle Commerce Cloud. Oracle partnered with Eurostep, the Ecommerce and Digital provider, which implemented the site within eight weeks and then quickly went on to expand their e-commerce footprint to over 35 countries in 10 languages with 15 different local currencies in a mere seven months. With Oracle Commerce Cloud, Moleskine will be able to leverage a configurable, customizable storefront to enable its globally distributed team to work with modern business tools, localized content and currency support.

In addition to Oracle Commerce Cloud, Moleskine will also leverage Oracle Marketing Cloud to support omni-channel customer journeys.

Oracle CX Cloud Suite has provided the brand's e-commerce, digital, marketing and sales operations teams with a global platform to showcase new products, underline brand identity and always be on the same page as the loyal Moleskine community.

"In today's dynamic retail environment, brands need to be able to deliver seamless, personalized and immediate experiences across all devices and touch points," said Rondy Ng, Senior Vice President, Applications Development, Oracle. "Moleskine has built an incredibly powerful brand and we are pleased to be able to help the Moleskine team build on that success in order to drive innovation and business transformation on a global scale."
