BDC Advisors' Brian Silverstein, MD to Present at Leadership Conferences on Optimal Strategies for Population Health, Volume-To-Value Care Transformation, and Physician and Healthcare Executive Relationships

MIAMI, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BDC Advisors' Dr. Brian Silverstein will explore the challenge of turning population health from a "strategic fantasy" into operational reality at three leadership summits in October and November. Dr. Silverstein will discuss how organizations can determine the appropriate pace of change to expand value-based care delivery, and build sustainable population health strategies.

The American College of Healthcare Executives will host Tom Aitcheson, PhD and Dr. Silverstein at their Savannah Cluster where they will present "Physician and Executive Partnerships: Hard Facts, Soft Skills"—highlighting the challenges and opportunities the current healthcare environment presents to positive working relationships between physicians and healthcare executives.

At The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania's Payment Reform Summit, Dr. Silverstein will present "Population Health Management—from Strategic Fantasy to Operational Reality." While strategy is something we understand, it can be challenging to deliver on the promise of moving from volume to value. Dr. Silverstein will share key operational elements of organizations successfully delivering value-based care, and how to learn from them to improve the care for a population while reducing the total cost.

Finally, at The Governance Institute's Leadership Conference, Dr. Silverstein will present "Population Health Maturity Curve: Where Are You & Where Should You Be?" He will once again lead the discussion of population health management in a changing market, how organizations can determine where they are on the population health maturity curve, and how they can build a sustainable population health strategy going forward.

Details about these various prestigious conferences, including locations, registration information and dates, are available as a courtesy at the BDC Advisors website.
