The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Annual AgeWell Expo Set For Oct. 14
Premier event for active adults 50+ will feature Vicki Lawrence, connections lounge, job fair

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual Las Vegas Review-Journal's AgeWell Expo returns on Saturday, October 14. The premier free event for active adults 50+ is bringing in Vicki Lawrence to present "Life Is Too Short To Be Taken Too Seriously," a humorous look at life with all of its trials. The Expo also features a senior connections lounge sponsored by Skintegrity Skin Spa, a job fair, expert seminars and more.

AgeWell Expo will be held at Cashman Center at 850 Las Vegas Boulevard North, from 9 am to 4 pm. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is also free with a shuttle bus sponsored by Summerlin. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register at AgeWellExpo.com. Those who pre-register will be entered for a chance to win prizes at the top of every hour throughout the Expo. The Review-Journal is also partnering with Catholic Charities to help seniors in need. Attendees who bring in canned food will get an additional raffle entry per can.

The AgeWell Expo, which is expected to draw more than 14,000 attendees, will feature popular offerings such as seminars by experts on health and financial planning; a "Meet the Press" forum with Las Vegas Review-Journal's columnists including John Katsilometes; and information booths from over 100 local businesses and organizations. There will also be a special seminar by horticulture and gardening columnist, Bob Morris. Activities include prize drawings, raffles and performances by top Tom Jones impersonator Harmik, a live caricature drawing stage by internationally acclaimed artist Neal Portnoy and many more Las Vegas local acts.
