HOUSTON, Sept. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey affecting many Texans and Texas-based businesses, the A&D Strategies and Opportunities Conference and Workshop has been rescheduled to October 12-13 and moved to the Omni Hotel in Dallas. Hart Energy will be donating $100 from each new registration to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts to help with recovery of impacted areas in South Texas.

In a new order - the conference will now kick off first on Thursday, Oct. 12th and will be followed by the Workshop on Friday, Oct. 13th. At the conference, leaders from Halcon Resources, Chisholm Energy Holdings and Blue Whale Energy will take the stage to analyze market trends and dissect recent deals. More than 20 speakers will address the following topics:

• Growing activity in the Eagle Ford

Following the conference, the 10^th edition of A&D – The Workshop, themed The Battle of the Masters, challenges veteran deal-makers and up-and-coming A&D executives in a deal-making competition with real-world situations, like sky-high valuations, mineral buyers and other potential deal spoilers. Distinguished A&D masters – including executives from EOG Resources, LINN Energy, Rockcliff Energy and more – will share their companies' growing portfolios and serve as the workshop's "Board of Directors."
