PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TIBCO Software Inc. announced today that the 15th annual TIBCO Energy Forum, scheduled for September 6-7 in Houston, has been postponed following the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey in the greater Houston area. TIBCO's first priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of local employees, customers, partners, and all Houstonians.
"Our hearts go out to those affected by this natural disaster, and our first priority is the safety of those in Houston," said Thomas Been, chief marketing officer, TIBCO. "As such, we will be delaying the TIBCO Energy Forum, but remain committed to holding the event in the Houston area, at such time as it is safe and practical for the local community to do so."
The new dates for the Energy Forum will be announced in the coming weeks.
