Leasing highlights from Olshan Properties' retail portfolio over the past sixteen months include the following key transactions:
- In Dayton, Ohio, The Greene Town Center welcomed several new tenants including J.Crew Mercantile, Integritas Shoes, The Walking Company and home decor tenants, Griffin & Company and Blinded by Aerolux. Sleep Number relocated to a new and expanded brand flagship store and Deg's Flame Grilled Chicken, an exciting new fast casual concept that promises to "change the game" with chicken and other healthy eating options, plans to open shortly;
- At the Bayshore Town Center in the affluent north suburbs of Milwaukee, Wis., highlights include women's clothing retailer, Akira, who opened in a 3,656 square-foot space, and Chubby's Cheesesteaks, a regional premium sandwich shop, joined Bayshore to enhance the already deep food offerings at the center; Construction on the North End of Bayshore will commence in 2017 to replace the former Sears store with 75,000 square feet of new retail space that will include Total Wine & More and other national branded retailers;
- At Zona Rosa Town Center in Kansas City, Mo., Cricket Wireless opened last fall, and Draftcade, a new concept in entertainment and dining, recently opened a 13,097 square-foot space;
- The Shoppes at Webb Gin, located near Atlanta, Ga., has seen a flurry of retail deals. In September, the center welcomed local retailer RIVET Boys Clothing and Accessories Shop, and will soon welcome international clothing retailer H & M. In addition, Hollywood Feed, offering natural and holistic pet food and supplies, SmallCakes Cupcakery, The Diner at Webb Gin, and Gym Source all plan to open later this year;
- At Great South Bay in West Babylon, N.Y., two new tenants signed leases – Sprint recently opened, and Phenix Salons plans to open a 4,518 square-foot space later this year;
- The Gate at Manhasset, located in Manhasset, N.Y., welcomed popular indoor cycling phenomenon, Peleton, in December 2016 and Lululemon Athletica is planning to fully remodel their existing store to their current brand standard;
- At Third Avenue at 60th Street, in Midtown Manhattan, Juice Island opened in November and a new lease was signed with a NYC restaurant group that will open a Mediterranean restaurant with banquet and event space;
- In Evanston, Ill., The Shoppes at Orrington welcomed Insomnia Cookies. Several new deals are in the works with other food tenants as the property undergoes a re-tenanting transformation;
- Akers Mill Square, located in Atlanta, Ga., welcomed Bonefish Grill and Chuy's Tex-Mex to an already robust lineup of dining options that includes Grub Burger Bar, Longhorn Steakhouse, Top Spice, Cinco Mexicana Cantina and numerous fast causal offerings; 6,550 square-foot space;
- At West Plaza, located in Glendive, Mont., Momentum Fitness began operating a 6,125 square-foot space in January 2017;
- At Parkchester in the Bronx, N.Y., Boston Market will open soon, and Zaro's Bakery will be returning to Parkchester in a new space later this year.
