New Website recognizes top advanced clinicians

LAS VEGAS, May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Point of Care Network (POCN), the largest network of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in America, has launched America's Top NPs and PAs, the first-ever online nomination portal to recognize the best-of-the-best Advanced Clinicians in the United States.

America's Top NPs & PAs recognizes the best-of-the-best Advanced Clinicians in the United States.

All Clinicians will be able to start nominating their peers while attending the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Annual Conference in Las Vegas, May 16–18, 2017. NPs and PAs can now nominate top Advanced Clinicians at www.advancedclinicians.com. Nominees will be selected based on their clinical skills and the sensitivity as well as empathy they possess when treating patients.

According to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, there are currently over 335,000 NPs and PAs practicing and prescribing in the U.S., and data from IMS show they write close to half a million prescriptions annually. While physicians have been able to nominate their peers for various "Top Doctor" listings, this is the first time that Advanced Clinicians have been able to recognize the top members of their own professions. Physicians are also encouraged to nominate their NP and PA Colleagues.

Robert Blumm, MA, PA-C, DFAAPA, and Point of Care Network Advisory Board Member, said, "There has never been a better time to recognize Advanced Clinicians for their skills, caring, and positive impact on healthcare in the United States. America's Top NPs and PAs allows us do it in a straightforward and rewarding way."
