The Eden Legacy Makes a Timely Debut as Israel-Palestinian Conflict Boils to the Surface
An engaging love story and thriller by best-selling author Harold Gershowitz that tests the age-old conflict of cultural and political differences as war erupts

PALM DESERT, Calif., Jan. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Best-selling, award-winning author Harold Gershowitz's "The Eden Legacy," is a love story rich in historical detail, that takes off on the eve of the Israeli-Arab six-day war in 1967. Gershowitz will be discussing the novel at the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on January 28 at The Rancho Mirage Public Library. The festival is a world-class gathering of writers, thinkers, and people contributing to the intellectual vitality of our time, which will be covered nationally by C-SPAN.

The novel unfolds in America and in the Middle East, weaving a wide range of historical detail into a drama-packed story, in which Noah Greenspan, a successful Jewish-American businessman, and his fiancée Alexandra Salaman, a Christian Arab-American journalist must negotiate their love for one another as the Arab-Israeli Six-Day War erupts.

Gershowitz interviewed Israelis and Palestinians in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Jaffa, and the West Bank, to determine, first-hand, how geo-political decisions impact the lives of everyday men and women.  The story is packed with personal and political tension, and a terrorist plot that keeps the reader turning pages.

"The Eden Legacy" is now available on www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, www.apple.com/itunes and as an audiobook from www.audible.com
