SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BreezoMeter, a big data analytics company that provides dynamic air-quality data up to city-block-resolution worldwide, today announced that it will demonstrate its Smart City technology at the Smart City Expo, taking place November 15-17 in Barcelona, Spain. BreezoMeter's air-quality Command and Control will be on full display at the New York City Pavilion (as part of BreezoMeter's partnership with Current, powered by GE), and at the Israeli Pavilion.
BreezoMeter solutions are already being implemented in Smart City projects around the world. Together with Cisco France, as part of an experiment in Place de la Nation, Paris, BreezoMeter analyzes air-quality data from local sensors by Libelium, connected to the LoRaWAN architecture deployed by Cisco. The project emphasizes different users' exposure to pollution, the impact of road traffic, and supporting future urban planning and development.

The software would, for example, be able to identify areas where air pollution is likely to move over the course of a few hours, therefore enabling city officials to strategically limit or reroute traffic in those areas. It could also connect additional air-quality sensors, analyze their data and recommend the best locations to place them.
