Emerging Women Live Presents Fourth Annual Leadership Conference in San Francisco on October 13th - 16th, 2016

NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Emerging Women, a global network and leadership platform for entrepreneurs, executives, and changemakers, will host its fourth annual Emerging Women Live leadership conference in San Francisco, CA, at The Park Central Hotel, from Thursday, October 13th through Sunday, October 16th, 2016. The four-day conference will welcome women from around the world to participate in a rich and valuable program composed of workshops, panels, networking opportunities, integrative wellness practices, entertainment, book signings, and inspiring talks by emerging leaders and influential keynote speakers.  Representing dozens of industries, these speeches will motivate attendees to harness their own leadership skills in business and in life.  Past speakers include Jane Goodall, Brené Brown, Arianna Huffington, Alanis Morrisette, and Elizabeth Gilbert.

This year, Emerging Women is honored to host a diverse lineup of incredible keynote speakers this year, including New York Times bestselling author Glennon Doyle Melton; writer, speaker, and transgender activist Janet Mock; acclaimed spiritual lecturer and author Marianne Williamson; Reshma Saujani, founder and CEO of national nonprofit Girls Who Code; renowned novelist and teacher Anne Lamott; and media entrepreneur and public speaker Mallika Chopra, among other powerful women leaders.

"I'm a big believer in women supporting other women," said Arianna Huffington, in an interview with Emerging Women founder Chantal Pierrat. "This is a time for us to really reach out, help each other, and at the same time when we do that, we bring out the best in ourselves."  In the spirit of helping one another, this year Emerging Women will introduce a new online membership program. This interactive membership platform will allow like-minded women leaders to connect on a more meaningful level, discussing challenges in a safe space, and sharing their advice and successes with one another.

Emerging Women was founded in 2012 by Chantal Pierrat, a University of Colorado MBA graduate and former VP of Sales and Marketing of a multimedia publishing company.  The organization's mission is to increase the pipeline of women leaders and entrepreneurs across the globe. "Emerging Women is about creating a world where women have a strong voice in the creation of our future," says Pierrat. "Feminine Leadership is connected leadership.  In this age of social media and connection-based technology, now more than ever the world needs what women have innately known for millennia – that together we can create seismic change."  Through organizing international events, networking circles, and motivational online content, Emerging Women works to create a sustainable future where feminine attributes like connection, empathy, intuition and heart are held as powerful values.

As part of its commitment to encouraging women to take on positions of power and lead authentically, Emerging Women will offer several scholarships to the 2016 conference to women from nonprofit Girls Who Code, co-working community HUB Oakland, and angel investing program Pipeline Fellowship.

The 2016 Emerging Women Live Conference has many valued sponsors aligned with the mission of empowering women leaders and entrepreneurs, including Microsoft, MailChimp, Charles Schwab, Little Bird Marketing, The Institute for Feminine Leadership, and others including nonprofits, magazines, and social networking platforms.
