DULLES, Va., May 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Compusearch® announced the next focus of their ongoing Executive Panel Series on government contracting best practices: Responding to the Latest Trends in Federal Audits.
The Audit-Trends topic is a natural extension of the Executive Panel Series' last area of focus, the "Terrible Tradeoff" that many government contractors think needs to be made between full compliance and low overhead costs. After a debut by Compusearch's CEO, Reid Jackson, during the opening ceremony at NCMA GCMS last December, experts have extensively discussed the "Terrible Tradeoff" at NCMA chapter meetings, in several leading government contracting companies, and within greatly demanded webinar and whitepaper formats. Ultimately a Contracting community effort, insights and implications framed by The Tradeoff have already helped several organizations begin to emerge from the compliance worries and financial constraints that keep GovCon contracts, compliance, and finance professionals up at night.
The Audit-Trends topic will focus on developments and best practices related to working with auditors from DCAA, DCMA, GAO, and agency IG offices. During the imminent Executive Panel Discussion, experts will share their experiences and lessons learned during recent audits and respond to questions from their peers in the audience.
Responding to the Latest Trends in Federal Audits will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Reston, Virginia. Finance, Compliance, and Contracts executives interested in attending should contact Amee Singh at asingh@compusearch.com.
