Seal Further Expands ActiveBatch's Position as Most Advanced, Comprehensive Solution For Managing Data Flows Across Informatica and Non-Informatica Clouds and Applications

MORRISTOWN, N.J., May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. (ASCI), maker of ActiveBatch® Workload Automation and Job Scheduling Software, today announced that ActiveBatch has received the Informatica Marketplace Seal of Approval for Informatica Cloud, Informatica's cloud data integration solution. The validation further extends ASCI's position as an Informatica Partner, and ensures Informatica users seamless performance with Informatica's menu of industry-leading data integration products as well as ActiveBatch's advanced automation capabilities.

The comprehensive and rigorous validation process included functionality and architecture assessments, validation of use cases, stability and performance testing, appraisal of supporting documentation, and more. Once certified by Informatica engineers, products in the Seal of Approval program provide users assurance of trusted interoperability as well as exceptional performance in stability, stress, installation, and deployment.

In 2011, ActiveBatch also earned the Informatica Seal of Approval for PowerCenter, Informatica's flagship on-premises data integration solution. With the addition of interoperability for Informatica Cloud through its Extension for Informatica Cloud, ActiveBatch provides the most advanced, comprehensive solution for managing the flow of data in and across the most recent versions of Informatica and non-Informatica applications.

"Advanced Systems Concepts -- long-time Informatica Partner and maker of ActiveBatch® Workload Automation -- offers Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud users a simplified and powerful approach to automating their workflows and tasks. ActiveBatch's job scheduling capabilities and rich library of pre-built integrations help organizations more easily build end-to-end workflows across Informatica and non-Informatica applications. Informatica Cloud helps enterprises maximize their cloud computing ROI by overcoming the challenges of data fragmentation. The solution supports integration of data across SaaS applications in cloud-based and in-house systems, keeping data up-to-date while enabling users to access required data anytime and anywhere.

Earning the Informatica Seal of Approval for Informatica Cloud brings increased value to ActiveBatch, which is used in 47 countries around the world. Now on Version 10, ActiveBatch increases IT agility and efficiency while reducing cost by allowing IT organizations to automate and centrally manage disparate jobs and workflows quickly and easily, without custom scripting.

"ActiveBatch is having a transformative impact on Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud automation worldwide," said Jim Manias, vice president of sales and marketing at Advanced Systems Concepts. "ActiveBatch supports the entire data integration lifecycle, from the first point of receiving data to compiling it into information and sending it off in customized reports for analysis. With ActiveBatch, Informatica users have the ability to seamlessly integrate Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter processes with other technologies, applications, and databases."

The ActiveBatch Extension for Informatica Cloud provides a series of 12 production-ready Job Steps for common Cloud functions to the ActiveBatch Integrated Jobs Library. With these Job Steps, users can designate Informatica Cloud job criteria, then simply drag-and-drop steps to create end-to-end workflows. The Job Steps in the Extension, combined with hundreds of other templated Job Steps for common IT tasks, functions, applications, databases, and computing platforms, allow users to integrate Informatica Cloud processes with dependent process types and technologies, removing the need for custom scripting.
