Zappos CEO to keynote 17th Call Center Week Conference + Expo
2016 CCW "Game Changer" Tony Hsieh to speak on Zappos Culture, Delivering Happiness and Revitalizing Downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, April 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Culture is to a company as community is to a city: it's built on values, innovation, serendipity, participation and upward mobility to attract smart startups and form a creative class. This is the mantra used by Tony Hsieh, Chief Executive Officer at Zappos, and the 2016 CCW Game Changer Keynote speaker at IQPC'S 17th Call Center Week Conference + Expo this June 27July 1 in Las Vegas.

"Our number one priority is company culture. Our whole belief is that if you get the culture right, most of the other stuff like delivering great customer or building a long-term brand will just happen naturally on its own," Tony Hsieh said.

Achieving successful corporate culture is a difficult feat. Oftentimes a company's culture and employee productivity crumble as its size expands. Hsieh bucked this trend by creating a highly-revered model of corporate culture, leading the company to be recognized multiple times by Fortune Magazine on its list of the "Top 100 Best Companies to Work For."

The same studies show the reverse is true for city population growth. As a city expands, so does its productivity and innovation – at a rate of 15 percent per resident. This is why Hsieh has set his sights on Las Vegas with the $350 million Downtown Project that will be a hybrid of corporate, community and city life that will maximize productivity and innovation for both Zappos and the city. He will outline his strategy for the company and the city in his closing keynote address, "Zappos Culture, Delivering Happiness and Revitalizing Downtown Las Vegas."
