Inaugural Boston Business Women Innovation Conference Coming This May
Arianna Huffington Joins as Keynote Speaker at Conference for Boston Women, by Boston Women

BOSTON, Feb. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The inaugural Boston Business Women Innovation Conference – a conference developed by the group Boston Business Women – will take place May 9, 2016 at the Westin Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, Mass. Arianna Huffington, president and editor in chief of The Huffington Post, has signed on as the keynote speaker and the event will be emceed by Emmy award-winning producer and television personality, Jenny Johnson. Huffington and Johnson will be joined by an impressive panel of experts and influencers from SoulCycle, SELF Magazine, Living Proof, Her Campus, Hill Holliday, Hollister Staffing and others.

The Boston Business Women Innovation Conference will cover several topics, including money mindset, the secrets of success, personal branding and how to master work-life balance. Registration will open at 9:30 a.m. with discussions and activities taking place from 10 a.m.4 p.m. throughout the vendor/exhibitor hall, social media lounge and the professional networking station.

The inspiration for the conference came from Boston Business Women's founder and entrepreneur Kristina Tsipouras and Boston-area marketer Megan Marini. Tsipouras founded a number of successful brands throughout her career, including lip balm brand Moroccan Magic, lifestyle website and book series Busy Girl Daily and ZOOS herbal iced tea. Marini is the founder of Marketing Superheroes, which teaches companies and executives how to brand for true market disruption. The two successful women came together with a common goal in mind – connecting local businesswomen through a conference developed by Bostonians.

When asked about her vision behind the conference Tsipouras said, "There have been some great conferences in Boston, but I haven't seen any that were hosted locally by Boston business women and included nationally-acclaimed speakers. After meeting at networking events and noticing a lack of affordable and accessible conferences in the city, Megan and I enthusiastically started working on the innovation conference, and immediately the reaction among Boston women has been overwhelmingly positive and supportive."

Marini added, "I meet and work with so many smart, successful women who are looking for a venue to gain more business acumen while sharing their experiences with their peers. We believe that putting in place the Boston Business Women Innovation Conference is just the sounding board these women want."
