Pakistani Women's Rights Activist Khalida Brohi to Speak at WILD Summit
Women Inspiring Leadership Development (WILD) Summit IV offers a unique opportunity for professional women to network with students, learn from each other, and share their wisdom

BOULDER, Colo., Feb. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WILD Summit IV is proud to announce that Khalida Brohi will deliver the luncheon keynote at this year's event. Brohi is the Founder and Executive Director of The Sughar Empowerment Society, a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to providing women in Pakistan with opportunities for growth and development. In 2014 Brohi was recognized as part of Forbes "30 under 30" for her work with Sughar.

"Sughar means skilled and confident women," said Brohi. "The women of Pakistan have skills and confidence and only need opportunities to unleash that potential within themselves."

"There is no question that Khalida will inspire WILD participants to tap into their own potential," said Julie Imig, WILD Summit chair. "By her actions as a social entrepreneur, she really epitomizes what it means to inspire leadership, which is what WILD is all about."

"I'm looking forward to sharing my experience with the WILD Summit participants," said Brohi. "I have learned that to do great things in life, you have to be two things: deaf and dumb. Deaf to the criticism that will come hurling at you right when you make progress and dumb so that you do not waste time explaining yourself when you could be winning!"

Registration for the WILD Summit IV is now open. The event will take place on April 1, 2016 at the Marriott Hotel in Westminster, CO. To register or for more information, visit www.wildsummit.org.
