The Circle of Light for Community Leadership Award recognizes ERA® companies who give time, raise funds and provide resources to worthy causes. Circle of Light award winners create a culture of civic service within their companies and establish themselves as a philanthropic leader in the areas they serve.

"As real estate professionals, we often find ourselves deeply connected to the goings-on of our local communities. ERA American Real Estate consistently makes an effort not just to understand the clients and neighborhoods they represent, but to care for them by giving back," said Simon Chen, President and CEO of ERA Real Estate. "Gloria Frazier and her team have shown tremendous compassion and generosity this year in offering their time, money and resources to those in their community who need it most."

ERA American Real Estate has supported more than 35 charitable organizations and raised over $76,000 to support them, including donations made by agents and staff from a portion of their own monthly paychecks. This past year alone, the ERA American Real Estate team conducted numerous community service projects across a wide range of service, including hosting various fundraising events to feed the hungry, abate homelessness and support education. Notably, they offered key support to neighboring brokerage, ERA Neubauer Real Estate, in the aftermath of 2018 storm, Hurricane Michael. More than 140 ERA American volunteers helped by delivering food and supplies, creating temporary shelters, performing wellness checks, and ensuring that the ERA Neubauer team was equipped to keep their business up and running.

"We have submitted nominations for the Circle of Light Award in previous years, but to be recognized as the winner this year – especially with all of the work our team put in to help our friends and colleagues at ERA Neubauer – felt particularly special," said Gloria Frazier. "I'm proud to lead this unique group of agents who are so dedicated to giving back to those around them, and I am so grateful that their hard work is being recognized on a larger scale."
