Behavioral Health Experts Host Open Dialogue Workshop Focused On Sex, Love, Power, Trauma, And Healing In A #MeToo World

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- C4 Recovery Foundation will present a free interactive workshop open to the public - Same World, New Lens: Understanding Intimacy, Boundaries, Power and Redemption in the #MeToo World at the 5th Evolution of Addiction Treatment conference on Friday, January 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in California Ballroom at the Sheraton Gateway.

The expert panel, Robert Weiss, PhD, MSW; Kate Balestrieri, PsyD, CSAT-S; Stewart Leviton, Esq; and Lauren Dummit, LMFT, CSAT, will facilitate an interactive group dialogue about sex, love, power, trauma, and healing in a world shaped by the ever-changing landscape of the evolving #MeToo movement. This multidisciplinary team will lead an honest and respectful conversation with a select group of men and women designed to foster empathy and mutual understanding of how dynamics of power, trust and redemption, as portrayed in the media and their personal lives, have influenced their relationships with intimacy, courtship and relational safety. Members from the public are invited to watch, participate, and ask questions. There is no cost to attend this event.

About the Faculty:

Robert Weiss PhD, MSW is the author of several books, and a subject expert for multiple media. He is the CEO of Seeking Integrity LLC, an online and real-world resource for recovery from infidelity and sex, and porn addiction.

Kate Balestrieri, PsyD, CSAT-S and Lauren Dummit, LMFT, CSAT are founders of Triune Therapy Group and the Hosts of Behind Closed Doors with Dr. Kate & Lauren.

Stuart Leviton is a California attorney with 25 years of experience advising companies in the areas of business and employment law. A former Vice-Chair of the Calif. Fair Employment and Housing Commission, Stuart is the COO of Seeking Integrity LLC.
