MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoonuit, the leader in PK-12 student performance analytics and educator professional development, has announced a first-of-its-kind, fully managed and supported Ed-Fi Operational Data Store (ODS) integration to Hoonuit's longitudinal education data warehouse and analytics solution. "We fully support the industry's efforts to reduce the complexity of data acquisition and interoperability," said Paul Hesser, chief executive officer at Hoonuit. "Our robust analytics and visualization solution now integrates with education agencies' data integration initiatives accelerating the process of getting the power of data in the hands of educators to drive positive change in schools and classrooms."

Built and expanded upon the Common Education Data Standards (CEDS), Hoonuit's organization and robust data model have been facilitating data interoperability since its inception in 2000. Earlier this year the organization signed the Project Unicorn pledge, joining over 100 education agencies and education technology vendors in support of improving the transparency of data interoperability in the education industry.

"We are thrilled to see Hoonuit expand its participation with the Ed-Fi Alliance providing the school districts and education agencies they serve with effective, productized visualizations in order to leverage their data with Ed-Fi," said Cesare Tise, manager, strategic partnerships at Ed-Fi Alliance. "Community members like Hoonuit, help us further realize our vision of empowering educators with a complete view of every student, classroom, and school."

Hoonuit will be sponsoring the Ed-Fi Summit, a gathering of education technology leaders committed to data interoperability, October 9-12 in Austin, TX. For more information on Hoonuit and its commitment to data interoperability please visit www.hoonuit.com.
