LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Akira Himekawa, known for their work on popular series such as The Legend of Zelda, My Little Pony and Astro Boy, is excited to announce the launch of their very own production company: Himekawa Art Productions.
Himekawa Art Productions' goal is to bring to life the art and characters of both licensed and unique IPs for a global audience. The first project planned is the launch of Marin, the idol of acclaimed pachinko series "Umi Monogatari," also known as Sea Story, by SANYO.
"Nature, animals and earth themed stories are what we want to focus on. We are also drawn to Native American themes. In addition, we love to work on entertainment contents such as anime, movies and games," said Akira Himekawa on the subject of the company's focus.

The panels, Sanyo Presents Himekawa Art Production's Debut Project: "Marin," will be held at both events on Friday, September 5 at 12:15pm (Room 1A06 - Javits Center) and 4:00pm (Main Stage - Pier 94) respectively.
