Gateway Bronco Holds Press Conference to Display 'GRMPS69' at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale
Barn Find Specialists to unveil heirloom vehicle with press conference Friday, January 19th at 1pm

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Gateway Bronco, innovative builder of the first-generation Ford Bronco will be unveiling a 1969 heirloom Bronco with press conference in LUX3, near the Salon Showcase.

Listed as the #1 vintage 4x4 by Haggerty and one of the hottest collector cars on the market today, the 1st generation Ford Bronco has grown in value at iconic rates over the past 5 years.

This is an heirloom vehicle for the family of Phil Falconer, GRMPS69 is not for sale. GRMPS69 as its license plate shows, started as a humble 6-cylinder Bronco with 3-on-the-tree manual transmission. When Gateway Bronco was commissioned to perform this restoration, they found it in original paint and untouched for almost 48 years. This is a 1-owner Bronco that remained in the Washington DC area its entire life. The rough winters of the Potomac River Valley left the vehicle rusted almost beyond repair. The vehicle required well over 50% sheet metal replacement. The now 52-year-old grandson has commissioned his grandfather's Bronco to be built to modern standards and to include his father's engine from their Ford Torino station wagon

Fast forward: Now a 500hp power-house with EFI by Edelbrock, in 1967 Shelby Brittany Blue paint; this isn't your grandfather's Bronco anymore.  It's a lifelong dream come true for Ford fanatic and Cisco engineer, Phil Falconer

Gateway Bronco was commissioned by Phil in 2017 to care for his grandfather's Bronco after waiting 25 years. The vehicle and its owner, will be available during the press conference in LUX3, near the Salon Showcase. Phil will tell about the times he spent with his grandfather in this original SUV, including fishing along the Potomac River. Phil will be joined by Gateway Bronco CEO, Seth Burgett, as they describe their journey of bringing GRMPS69 back to life.
