Founded in July 2014, Uptake has quickly made its mark on the industrial sector, serving as the analytics and predictive software provider for global businesses in energy, construction, aviation, mining, rail and more. Uptake's platform collects and analyzes massive amounts of data captured from industrial equipment and infrastructure, recommending detailed insights and recommended actions in real-time that helps improve performance, reliability and security. This facilitates the creation of new data-driven business models for customers, equating to a greater competitive edge.

The World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneers community comprises early-stage companies from around the world that are involved in the design, development and deployment of new technologies and innovations, and are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.

Following Uptake's selection as Technology Pioneer, Cofounder and CEO, Brad Keywell, will be participating in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions. This meeting, also dubbed "Summer Davos" will be held in Dalian, China, June 27-29. "We welcome Uptake to this group of extraordinary pioneers," says Fulvia Montresor, Head of Technology Pioneers at the World Economic Forum. "By bringing together connected information in real-time, Uptake's platform increases productivity and reliability through previously untapped data. Uptake's meteoric growth is a testament to the appetite for these actionable data insights."

"The Fourth Industrial Revolution, a concept born from the World Economic Forum, is unfolding before our eyes," said Brad Keywell, Uptake Co-founder and CEO. "Across the world, billions of people and machines are connected to each other. Through groundbreaking technology, unprecedented processing power and speed, and massive storage capacity, data can be collected and harnessed like never before.
