ROSALYN, Va., May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Curtis Dukes, the former Director of Information Assurance at the U.S. National Security Agency will discuss global cybersecurity including proven methods to stop cyber attacks at The Telegraph's Cybersecurity Conference http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/cyber-security/ at 3pm (BST) on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The senior-level event will bring together chief executives and board directors from companies actively engaged in developing a secure cybersecurity business environment.

Dukes is currently Executive Vice President & General Manager, Security Best Practices & Automation Group, at the U.S.-based CIS (Center for Internet Security) in East Greenbush, NY. He joined nonprofit CIS in January 2017.  Dukes leads the CIS Security Benchmarks (https://www.cisecurity.org/cis-benchmarks/) and Security Controls (https://www.cisecurity.org/controls/) programs which provide vendor-agnostic, consensus-based best practices to help organizations assess and improve their cybersecurity.  The CIS Controls have been downloaded more than 75,000 by organizations seeking to improve their cybersecurity.

Prior to CIS, Dukes was the former Director of Information Assurance at the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) as well as the Deputy National Manager (DNM) for National Security Systems at NSA.
