Spheryx to Perform Live Demonstrations of xSight, their Revolutionary Particle Characterization Instrument, at PEGS Boston May 1-4, 2017
Spheryx will demonstrate their proprietary Total Holographic Characterization® technology at a leading international conference on protein-based therapeutics. The technology meets a critical need in the industry for the detection and characterization of protein aggregates, a safety hazard in biologic pharmaceuticals.

NEW YORK, April 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Spheryx, Inc. will be demonstrating their new instrument, xSight, which is based on their proprietary technology, Total Holographic Characterization®, at PEGS Boston from May 1-4, 2017 in the Exhibit Hall at the Seaport World Trade Center. PEGS Boston is a weeklong event that draws an international delegation of nearly 2,200 participants interested in collaborating and sharing best practices in the areas of protein and antibody engineering, oncology, expression, analysis, immunogenicity, and therapeutics. xSight is able to detect and characterize protein aggregates, a known safety hazard in biologic pharmaceuticals, using technology based on holographic video microscopy.  Dr. David Ruffner, Spheryx Vice President of Research and Development, will also be making a presentation at the conference entitled "Protein Aggregate and Contaminant Detection: Total Holographic Characterization®". Dr. Laura Philips, President and CEO of Spheryx, stated, "PEGS Boston is a great venue to introduce xSight to the biologic pharmaceutical community. xSight is a powerful tool for monitoring protein aggregates as well as other contaminants such as silicone oil that are encountered in the development and manufacturing of protein-based pharmaceuticals."
