DLM TRUST Simplifies Embedded Security Development
ISS Device Lifecycle Management TRUST Appliance offers PKI and Key Management Services to meet IoT cyber security requirements

NUREMBERG, Germany, March 14, 2017  /PRNewswire/ -- embedded world 2017, Hall 4, Stand 325  — INTEGRITY Security Services (ISS), a Green Hills Software company, today announced the release of the Device Lifecycle Management (DLM) TRUST appliance, simplifying security development with flexible public key infrastructure and key management services. DLM TRUST offers digital signature, identity certificate, and key generation services required to meet otherwise challenging cyber security requirements.

DLM TRUST is the latest addition in the ISS end-to-end embedded security product portfolio, including FIPS 140-2 certified cryptographic modules and secure boot solutions for the on-board protection of software, data, and network communications without having to invent back-end security infrastructures to complete development and transition to manufacturing. Strengthened by the Green Hills INTEGRITY® real-time operating system, ISS is the only security provider to offer a complete solution for the most safe and secure embedded devices throughout production and operation.

"When developing secure embedded devices, project teams often underestimate the scope of secure, portable and scalable public key infrastructure needed to implement secure boot and authentication in their connected IoT products," said David Sequino, vice president and general manager of INTEGRITY Security Services. "DLM TRUST incorporates high security, ease of use, and flexible profiles to generate IoT trust assets compatible with leading security chip manufacturers today. Bundled with our cryptographic libraries, developers have a completely integrated solution to meet cyber security requirements before transitioning to full scale production with DLM Enterprise and Managed Services."

DLM TRUST is compatible with leading secure microprocessors and controllers, including Texas Instruments, Infineon, ST Micro, NXP/Freescale, and Renesas. DLM provides controlled use of signing keys while properly formatting signed software to leverage hardware security modules and ROM-based secure boot operations. The key issuance service securely distributes individual and group keys to devices, while the certificate service creates x.509 and custom certificates for authentication of remote endpoints in protocols including SSL/TLS, SSH, and HTTPS.

ISS is demonstrating DLM at embedded world 2017, in Nuremberg, Germany. The demonstration features secure software signing and distribution of updates to fielded devices. To request a meeting, please visit http://www.ghs.com/events/ew_2017.html.
