Martin's Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread to be Featured at The International Restaurant and Foodservice Show

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa., March 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc.  Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread will be featuring their Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread at The 24th Annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York on March 5-7.  This is the first year that Martin's is attending this event, which is touted as the only event in New York exclusively serving the restaurant and foodservice industry.  Martin's is delighted to introduce attendees to their famous potato rolls as well as to their newest product, which has become an instant favorite to many, Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread.

The Martin family has been baking potato rolls since 1955.  The golden rolls have been an integral part of meals that have brought people together for decades.  In fact, Martin's famous Sandwich Potato Roll is the number one branded hamburger roll in America, according to IRI sales data.  This roll is not only a popular choice when choosing the best quality rolls to feed loved ones at home, but also it has helped many chefs and restaurants to find success when they have incorporated Martin's rolls into their menus.  The sweet, buttery flavor from the potato dough adds the "golden taste" that turns culinary dishes into masterpieces.

Now, Martin's has taken cherished eating experiences a step further with Martin's Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread.   This new distinctive white bread has thick slices and a rich buttery flavor.  The split-top look and soft texture combines the nostalgia of days gone by with the great taste and high quality that today's consumer expects from Martin's.

"We are pleased to be able to offer another alternative to ordinary white bread to our customers.  Many of our foodservice and restaurant customers have been asking us for a flavor profile of white bread because they knew we would make a high quality product with high quality ingredients. Some want a white loaf because of call-outs in particular recipes, and some want it because of their customers' preferences," says Julie Martin, social media manager and grand-daughter to the original founders of Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, Lloyd and Lois Martin.  "We are eager to see the wonderful recipes that will be added to menus now that Martin's Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread has been added to our line-up of rolls and bread."

As with all their products, Martin's uses only the best ingredients, such as high protein wheat flour, nonfat milk, real butter, pure cane sugar, and other high-quality ingredients, to make this great-tasting, soft, gratifying Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread. Using 100 percent real butter without any additional oils is what earns Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread its name. All of Martin's products have no artificial colors or sweeteners, use unbleached high protein wheat flour, and are made from non-GMO ingredients.

The International Restaurant and Foodservice Show of New York is the first of five industry shows that Martin's will attend in 2017.  Restaurant and foodservice business is the fastest-growing segment of Martin's.  In fact, Martin's products are now served in restaurants and foodservice businesses in 46 states and 16 countries, stretching across five continents.  Industry shows are a way to make connections with restaurant and foodservice operations that are interested in including Martin's famous products on their menus.  "We are always meeting new people and customers at these shows," says Terry Lushbaugh, food service sales manager.  "It is good 'face time' where we are able to answer questions and talk through topics such as product details and deliveries."

For this event, Martin's representatives will be at booth #1857.  For their full trade show schedule, visit: https://potatorolls.com/foodservice/upcoming-events/
