BayoTech Inc. Selected to Present at CleanEquity Monaco 2017 - The 10th Anniversary - Hosted by Innovator Capital

LONDON, Feb. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BayoTech Inc. will present at CleanEquity Monaco 2017 on March 9th & 10th at the Fairmont Monte Carlo.

CleanEquity is an annual invitation-only event hosted by Innovator Capital, the London based specialist investment bank. The conference provides an intimate and collegiate setting for inventors and entrepreneurs to share their stories with delegates - key decision makers looking to assist them with reaching their commercial and strategic goals.

Other partners and sponsors include Prince Albert II of Monaco's Foundation, Covington & Burling, Cisco EIR, Cision, Cranfield University, Hobbs & Towne, the Monaco Economic Board, Parkview and the Social Stock Exchange.

BayoTech Inc. has been identified by an expert panel as one of the world's most innovative sustainable technology companies and has been selected to present to senior financial and strategic cleantech investors, policy makers, legislators, end users and media.

Bayotech has a unique chemical reaction architecture that was patented and proven at Sandia National Labs, Albuquerque, NM US. The U.S. and French government invested ~50M in developing the patented nested flow technology. The breakthrough technology is now being applied to multiple markets - initially hydrogen production for both industrial stationary use and FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles) and nitrogen fertilizer systems.

The system is modular and scalable in increments of 100 kg/day of hydrogen or 1 ton/day of fertilizer - maintaining efficiencies and cost advantages. Parallel systems can be deployed to provide incremental growth for increasing demand or large scale production of chemicals needing energy management and heat transfer.

Local production of hydrogen or fertilizer (or other chemicals) means virtual elimination of transportation costs - a high percentage of current product costs.

After licensing the patented technology, BayoTech's first phase is developing a unique nested-flow approach to the Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) process.

The SMR process is widely used throughout the chemical industry, producing hydrogen and carbon monoxide for many applications. Among these applications are hydrogen for use in both transportation and stationary fuel cells, and both hydrogen and carbon monoxide as chemical feed stocks. The nested-flow process specifically enhances ammonia, nitrogen fertilizer, propane and electricity production. The nested-flow approach dramatically improves the energy efficiency of chemical processes. For the SMR process a 25% reduction in energy usage and a significant reduction in process scale are achieved using this technology. This means smaller regionally located production facilities can compete on production price while also significantly reducing transportation costs and logistics. Specifically, because hydrogen is produced onsite transportation costs are eliminated; plant footprint can be scaled down to a 20ft-shipping container for FCEV or 40ft for industrial needs. GHG emissions are greatly reduced because of improvements in production efficiency and reduced transportation costs. Cooling reduction leads to a 90% savings in water use.

BayoTech's nested-flow chemical reaction will transform the chemical production industry much like mini-mills transformed the steel industry.
