Yardney Partners with Hortau to Launch New SynergyPlus+™ Remote Access Controller
Companies Will Demo New Remote Access Controller at World Ag Expo

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., Feb. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Yardney has partnered with Hortau to help bring data from its water filtration systems into the cloud.

Yardney Water Management Systems, Inc. will be unveiling its new SynergyPlus+™ Remote Access Controller, powered by Hortau's cloud-based platform, at next week's World Ag Expo (Feb. 14-16) in Tulare, Calif.

Yardney, a pioneer in the development of clean water solutions since 1965, will showcase the SynergyPlus+™remote access system at Booth L35, hosting daily workshops for growers at 2 p.m.

Hortau, a provider of precision irrigation management systems and services for agriculture since 2002, will also be demonstrating the new Yardney system at its outdoor Booth K46. Hortau will be hosting grower seminars to discuss all of its irrigation management services (soil tension, weather and flow-meter monitoring) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. daily.

Yardney's SynergyPlus+ Remote Access Controller will allow users to start and stop filtration systems and backwash events and allow for real-time system status updates.

"We're excited about being able to offer our customers real-time filtration system data from the field," said Chris Phillips, President of Yardney. "No matter where our customers are, they'll be able to adjust all filtration settings and parameters, flush cycles, period, duration and more. It's just one more way we're innovating and making our product line more useful and accessible for our customers."

Along with giving Yardney customers access to real-time data by mobile or computer, leveraging Hortau's cloud-based platform, users can also receive alerts and alarm notifications by text or email when key events take place. The platform also allows for exporting historical data logging for analysis of water and energy conservation.

"It's been a great partnership with Yardney because they're constantly trying to innovate and push their product line forward," said Jocelyn Boudreau, Hortau CEO and co-founder. "Pushing field data to the cloud, whether it's for irrigation management or filtration purposes, is becoming more and more critical as farming operations grow and finding quality labor becomes harder. Growers are constantly on the move, driving from one ranch to another, so having access to their field data from anywhere is a real time-saver."
