CarNow Takes Home Two AWA Awards in 2017

ATLANTA, Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CarNow, a provider of automotive software solutions, takes home the AWA Award for Website Merchandising and the AWA Award for Rising Star in 2017.

CarNow's Visual Sales Messenger ("VSM"), winner of the 2017 AWA Award for Website Merchandising, provides both managed services and software to leverage channels like instant messaging and SMS to provide person-to-person communications. The platform incorporates content and vehicle brochures, schedules appointments, and assists transactions within the parts department all while providing a concierge-level experience to online customers.

"Chat leads have increased 30% and we've doubled engagements with those leads," commented Michael Spiegl of Tampa Honda. "The VSM platforms allow us to get personally involved at the moment of truth." The tools dealers need to connect, engage, and convert shoppers online are continually changing.  The way the consumer is using technology to shop for a vehicle is also changing. Award recipients in the Website Merchandising category continue to enhance existing products and deliver new solutions to help this area of our industry grow.

CarNow's BuyNow, winner of the 2017 AWA Award for Rising Star, is a live-assisted digital retailing solution that allows consumers to complete a large portion of the car buying process online. Users can push VDPs to the shopper's screen while chatting, and consumers have the ability to print, email, add somebody to the conversation, or convert to mobile. Consumers are connected to CarNow's BDC for simple questions or to the dealership's decision makers for deal-based questions to expedite the purchasing experience.

"We just switched over to BuyNow because we love the simplicity but we are excited about the flexibility it will provide over our previous provider," commented Michael Spiegl of Tampa Honda.

The Rising Star award is given to newer companies and products spanning all categories who are just starting to break ground in the automotive industry. We are excited about the potential for these innovators, and we encourage them keep progressing as we move through 2017.
