USCIS Director Léon Rodríguez Announced as Keynote Speaker at NES Financial's Innovation Summit 2017
Advanced seminars to highlight current EB-5 news and possible future trends

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NES Financial announced today that USCIS Director Léon Rodríguez will be the Keynote Speaker at the company's fourth annual Innovation Summit. The Summit will take place on February 2nd, February 7th, and February 9th in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City respectively.

Rodríguez was nominated by President Barack Obama in December 2013 as the Director of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). From July 2014 to January 2017, he led 19,000 government employees in the decision-making of tens of millions of immigrant petitions. Before that, he served as the director of the Office for Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services and as chief of staff and deputy assistant attorney general for civil rights at the Department of Justice. Rodríguez will speak about the EB-5 program and its future under the new administration.

With the increasing compliance standards for alternative investment funds like private equity and EB-5, the industry must implement best practices to remain in front of regulatory changes. Aside from Rodríguez, other notable EB-5 and private equity industry leaders will present valuable information and provide attendees with practical insights to help them navigate through 2017.
